Crowns/Caps

A dental crown/cap is a tooth-shaped restorative material placed over a tooth to restore its integrity, form and function.

There are various crowns available like metal, zirconia, tooth colored, transparent, etc, which are given based on the child’s needs.

Caps are usually given in cases with large tooth fillings and post pulp therapy to cover and support teeth.

A crown may also be advised to protect a weak decayed or cracked tooth from breakdown or to restore an already damaged tooth.
