Q. When should be a child’s first dental visit? A:- Within 6 months of the eruption of the first primary tooth and no later than 12 months of age.




Q. Why to take care/treat baby/milk teeth if they are just going to fall off? A:- Milk teeth are very important! If they are left to decay, they can pass the infection to underlying permanent teeth! Milk teeth also help to eat and speak. They hold space for permanent teeth and contribute to aesthetics and in building a child’s confidence.




Q. Is dentistry expensive? A:- Dentistry is not expensive, neglect is! Preventive care and timely treatment avoid major expenses.




Q. Why visit a Pediatric Dentist? A:- For the same reason why you visit a pediatrician! They are specialized dentists who are trained specially to treat child patients.


Q. How often should we visit a pediatric dentist? A:- Routine check-up every 6 months to prevent cavities, catch decay early, assess growth and alignment of teeth and oral tissues.
